The Cubeo Independant Merchant's Association has a long standing tradition of supporting legal trade in the dozens of systems its merchants and affiliate businesses operate in. Choosing to operate as a merchant vessel in the Prismatic Imperium requires adhering to CIMA policies. CIMA operates under the Branch of Mind.

Use of its services come with the following stipulations:

● All CIMA merchants are not permitted to trade with businesses suspected of illegal activities without prior approval. Such conduct will forfeit rights to CIMA benefits, including ship insurance.

● CIMA merchants are not allowed to trade commodities in systems where marked illegal. All fines are matched and sent to CIMA.

● Speeding isn't permitted in congested space.

● All shieldless merchant vessels must fly with a docking computer. Shielded vessels are exempt.

● Two pips engines, four pips systems around stations. Unless shieldless.

● All pilots choosing to fly while inebriated must use a docking computer.

● Merchants operating in wings must assist each other if interdicted. Vessels with an empty hull mass of 400 tonnes or greater may exempt themselves from the required assistance.

● If these policies can't be met due to lack of equipment or maintenance issues, the operator may request a ferry permit to an appropriate station. They may not operate under contract, but may participate in free trade.
