Kristiina Law

Kristiina Law was born in Cappadocia North on Cubeo III in 3266 (41 years old in 3307). She has a stoic disposition. She falls neatly into the attitude of a standard Imperial citizen. She stays out of news and politics, instead devoting her life entirely to her work; from which she gains a great amount of fulfillment. She often comes across as brash or rude, due to a lack of social skills. She is much more comfortable in a work environment than in a personal one.

Family

She has an older sister, a brother in law, and a nephew who live in Capital City, though her parents still live in Cappadocia North.

Education

Kristiina was educated at Emerald University, receiving her degree in geology. Though she does not hold formal degrees in xenobiology or archaeology, she is also competent in these areas, having spent several years as part of a combined research team studying old human civilizations on a variety of earthlike worlds.

Wellspring Philanthropic

Kristiina Law was one of the founding members of Wellspring Philanthropic. She joined the organization at its founding on 05-15-3307, and remained employed with the organization for slightly over seven months, resigning on 12/19/2021 in order to work for CMDR Nick Marick, who offered her a signing bonus of 50,000cr.

As head scientist for Wellspring, Kristiina oversaw several projects for the charity, including water reclamation projects on several drought stressed worlds. Her final mission was on Beta Octantis 3, a ringed earth-like world in the Beta Octantis system. She was part of an investigatory team sent to the planet by Wellspring as part of a collaboration with the conservationist Jason Minnow.
