Remlok Flight Suit
[Base Gear]
Remlok's iconic flight suit has become the staple uniform for countless pilots of all professions. Such is its success that even the Pilots' Federation supplies new Commanders with the suit as standard.

Forculus HoloCard
For the odd individual with an appreciation of the simple things, or perhaps a sense of humor, the HoloCard will surprise your friends with 3D projected confetti, music, and a video recording from you! Salvage Permit
A small encrypted data bank that authorizes legal salvaging of wreckage by a registered pilot within a system. While CMDRs are immune to such monetized regulations, these permits help local authorities identify vessels and determine the cause for the crash or abandonment while funding the fees associated with handling these artifacts.

The Salvage Permit is a required item for non CMDR salvaging operations.

Autobiographic, unreliable background

I am Cederica Riggs, and I've recently taken off in... Shinra Concerta. Excuse me, this is all still a bit hayz. Last time I checked, and trust me, that must've been, ugh, what, years ago, I was somewhere around Sol, putting in work with military, and they talked about a great future, right, and for some reason - let's not talk about the depth and expanse of my decision making skills... - this involved me stepping into a pod for... what time is it? Not the day, the year. Right. So, Commander Christopher Robertian told me, there's a special, dangerous mission, for which he's picking some future elite pilots, and I was bushy-eyed and bluetailed enough to sign up.

Wake up, sleepy head. Fast forward several odd years I seeming spent in cryo, and I find myself having become a citizen among the stars, but nothing like Commander Cee-Arr had promised. Whacky man, thinking back, never saw him again. Tried to contact him but no response. Read some dusty news that he had made off with a lot of money, from a lot of people? Crazy story. Anyway! I get sidetracked. Still working on getting my bearings and sense shaken back into place.

Listen to the words... Fresh out of the pod, they tell me I got a quarter mil to my name, an Eagle in the Hangar, and all kinds of license. At least some of those promises came through, heh. Picked her up, slighty dusty like the cobwebs in the old mental gearbox, and asked them to put some guns on her. Sure, market supplies, good enough, I head out, and there's some pirates or whatever that try to hassle some good, honest mining folk. Not on my watch, also, how does this ship even fly? Y'see, orientation, tests, simulator, ugh, not my speed. I'm gonna learn this the hard way. And that's the first three mil in the bank.

... you can't afford to miss. On I go, that DBX? Looks good. Fit her for range, give me one of those Artistmen suits, with the wibbly-wobbly doodad. Put a car in her, let's see what's out there. So I map my way to California, and stop at every microbe, tree, and mushroom on the way, touch down at Freeport, and they tell me, I should probably show all that data to someone. Fine, I say, I can do some space gardening. I then turn around, loop back, find some more sludge hiding in cracks, and some shielded... trees? The wibbly-wobbly loves them. After that tour, I touch down at Shinra, and they say, damn, those are some fine trees. Slap a cool 80 mil into my account, and I burn it all on a Mamba and a Type 8. Okay. There we go. I got a little bit of an array going, a fleetlet, if you will. A wing? I think it's kind of a wing. Anyway, now I can... race, explore, mine, transport, and fight.

Don’t you hear the shepherd calling the sheep? CMDR Cynflaidd, an acquaintance, gives me a buzz, and lets me know CMDR Luna Hellmoon needs a hauling job done. Sure, off we go, 12k CMMs, I got time. I let the assists handle most of the work, and put on some history channel vids to catch up with what I missed. There are apparently troglodytes attacking. Also, really, traffic cops and highwayman are just rude. I ripped the shields out of the fat 8 to move more cargo, so I'm running at top speed on the intercepts. A few hours later, the job is done, and I come back around.

You should be there... Turns out, Cynflaidd has a bit of a thing going on with this fine organization, in the name of a certain Aisling Duvall. Now, I don't know much about the local powers, but I do recall a lady, what'sherface, Aisling Bea. Very funny, made me laugh. First time I heard the name Aisling, too. Kinda stuck with me.

Signing up for a Sight Exam

Soon after handing my application and probationary title, I send Sight a message. Talk to me, exploration, discovery, I am all for it. And so I get homework. Find five curios and show them to the rest of the class. Alright then. Strap into the DBX, crackers, egg salad paste, and hard tack, and off I go. In fact, I go off for over 13,000 LY round trip, find an entire undocumented star system, set foot on fifteen planets, and find life, out there, in vast sea of nothingness. Hand it in, lean on the counter. Was that good enough? Yeah? What's next. I smile. A bit cocky, but, you know.
