CMDR Ezri D’astra

Born in 3285 to Federal Scientists on Tracy’s Haven in Vega, I have several years as a member of the Pilot’s Federation.

My mother, Athena D’astra, born to Imperial Senators, worked under the federation for many years as a xeno-entomologist. While that likely makes you immediately think Thargoids, which from what I know, she did not work on thargoid related projects frequently.

My father, a pilot within the Federal navy has severed for many years. While he is not a member of the pilots federation, he is what inspired me to become a member.

Since becoming a member of the pilot’s federation in 3307, I have been around the galaxy quite alot. I started my career out tied closely to the federation, as a child i looked up to my father and his fighting for the federation. Ill admit as i grew those views were naive.

Sometime after reviving my pilots federation license, conflict between the federation and the group known as the far god cult. While I do not agree with their worshipping of the thargoids(not to say I am Anti-Xeno either), I saw it as a blatant abuse of power by the now previous Federal President, Zachery Hudson. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I looked for alternative causes to fight for. This is where I was led to Aisling Duval and her populist, abolitionist views for the Empire. Being of Imperial descent I felt this was an acceptable choice. Though my father was not pleased, and my mother, unable to make him change his mind, cut contact with me.

It was during this time that it was revealed to me that a large inheritance had been left behind by my grandparents. They had left me with nearly 40 billion credits, their Personal Victory Class Fleet Carrier, as well as a penthouse on Cubeo 3 they would use as a vacation home away from Achenar. My Mother had explained to me that my grandparents had requested that it be given to me when the time was right.

I spent the next several months acting against the federation and their false values, choosing to follow the voice of Princess Aisling Duval. Through my travels of Imperial space and through my funding of assaults on Federally owned assets, I began to meet many new faces and build a name for myself in the wider galactic community. In my travels I had also met a runaway Imperial slave from the mines of LTT 198 named Alsham. I freed him from his costly and quite ridiculous 2 billion credit burden to Zemina Torval and employed him as my secretary.
