PERSONALITY

Viscount Teru seems at first sight to be a kind young man whose social capabilities are most commendable. He seems to be able to get along with almost anyone he approaches, even with those who make it hard to have conversations with. He's a hard worker which can be expected after you realize he's set up a Luxury Cruise Company by himself. The viscount is determined and sometimes headstrong in his beliefs, which has led him to have a rocky relationship with his parents and younger brother.

BIOGRAPHY

The Viscounts Family History

Viscount Jaino Piret Teru was born to the noble House Teru who trace their lineage back to the first settlers of Napia 7. Count Trelcan Valdis Teru married the third daughter of the local Duke Tulvon Gutas Virelli. The duke's third daughter was called Milina Delia Virelli, she was a bright young lady who had caught the eye of Count Trelcan Valdis Teru. The Count was eager to ask for her hand in marriage as he fell in love at first sight, he however followed the proper decorum and engaged in proper courtship before asking for her hand. A few months later they were wed and 9 months after that a healthy boy was born. Their first son who they named Jaino Piret Teru, the name Piret coming from his grandfather on his father's side. Four years later another son was born whom the count and countess named Kithas Tulvon Teru. The second son was named after the father of the countess so both grandfathers were honoured.

The Viscounts Youth

Jaino was a bit of a handful as he was always exploring the estate grounds. From the moment he could crawl the young boy explored as far as he could. This didn't change much throughout his early years of childhood. Jaino would receive a good education worthy of a noble of the empire the moment he was old enough to start learning. He was taught all the basics like reading, writing, math, and all the other basic skills one would expect. As he grew older so did his younger brother who he had a distant relation with. Not for a lack of trying, but his younger brother seemed to envy Jaino for his social skills and his apparent ease at making friends. Kithas was quite the opposite in that regard, the count and countess had "learned" from their experience with Jaino and made sure Kithas wasn't able to explore the grounds as far as Jaino always used to do. This caused Kithas to become a more isolated child and slowly turned him into an arrogant young man. Whereas Jaino was kind and caring to the Imperial slaves serving and working around at the estate, Kithas was no such thing. Jaino had always treated them as people and like he would have any other servant at the estate. Kithas however saw them as no better than wastes of space and disgraces to the empire.

With time they got older and older and local politics came into play. Jaino to the disappointment of his father took little interest in the local politics and was far too focused on trying to get his pilot's license. He had always wanted to explore so it was no wonder that he was also looking at the stars above. Together with a few of his friends he would eventually pass his exams and get his pilot's licence. Jaino also participated in business studies which would allow him to start a business or work at a highly reputable company.

The Birth of Royal Silver Cruises

Now that Jaino was finished with his education he would be known as the 3rd highest-scoring student of that year in his specialization. Quite an achievement his mother was quite proud of, his father slightly less however who would have had him focus on taking over the county. This would eventually fall to Jaino's younger brother Kithas. Prepared with the knowledge and skill to start his own company, Jaino would find himself at a crossroads. What kind of company would he set up? Mining? Technology? Weaponry? It had to be travel across the galaxy that much he knew. As he thought about it he figured where better to look than the spaceport? So he visited the surface spaceport and there he saw it the luxury liners of Saud Kruger. As if struck by lightning he was immediately sold by the idea of having his own luxury cruise company. He had always enjoyed exploring and what better way to do so than in style and comfort? He could be making others happy in a pleasurable journey among the stars and seeing beautiful sights.

So at the young age of 21, he would register his company under the name of Royal Silver Cruises. Perhaps a bit presumptuous but he thought that everyone should at least one day feel as though they're as important as royalty and have a worry-free experience as they visit the most wondrous places of the galaxy. He picked Silver because it has always been his favourite metal and always thought silver expressed importance in a humble and refined way. Whereas to him gold was of more bold and demanding importance.

Now he had a company but no ships to start with. So he asked his parents for a loan, and his mother agreed right away but his fathers put in the condition that should he proceed with this he would have to denounce his claim to the County and thus pass the Title of Count to his younger brother once his father passes. Jaino took some time to think on it but agreed. With the money he received, he bought the only ship worthy of a luxury cruise company he could afford and bought a Dolphin Class Luxury liner. He named this ship the R.S.C. Siren and it would be the first ship that he would own and fly. With the little money he had left, he would outfit it to the best possible layout and make some small advertisements at the starport. Not too long after his first few jobs came in and he would set out to show people some beautiful parts of this side of the galaxy.

The Rise of Royal Silver Cruises

A year has passed since Jaino bought his first ship. Since then he has come quite far, the first of his achievements was the fact that he paid off his debt to his parents. He repaid the loan he asked for in full along with the interest set up by his father. After that with the remaining profit, he hired one of his old classmates to fly the Dolphin around for him as the new pilot. The reason behind this was that Jaino had raised enough money to buy the Orca class Luxury Liner. His company was growing and so were his profits, he was able to hire more people who could serve drinks to the passengers. The orca was quite a large vessel so Jaino realized his smooth talking would not be enough to entertain all those passengers from the cockpit of the ship. Not long after buying the orca he also rented a building on Napia 7 near the starport. This building would serve as a small office and a way for people to directly book their luxury cruise with the company.

As if time had skipped ahead two whole years had passed and Royal Silver Cruises was a well-known name in this system of Napia. It was of course only a matter of time before a high-ranking noble would hear of the company and book a cruise as well. As usual, Jaino as the captain of the ship would welcome all passengers as they boarded. So this time he would welcome the high-ranking noble as well, who to his surprise was Marchioness Cordelia Alayna Norgime. The Marchioness and her family were well known for their criticism of the planet's Traditionalist faction The Napia Imperial Society. Jaino had heard of her before but never seen her with his own eyes. He politely introduced himself and wished her a good trip, her cruise was not as much a cruise as it was requested for her to be dropped off at a nearby star system to which Jaino had agreed.

The cruise went as planned, though there was a small rough patch along the way as they were interdicted by what Jaino assumed would-be pirates. Luckily Jaino's experience in flying would allow him to safely evade the interdiction without too much trouble for the passengers onboard. They would soon arrive in the system that was agreed upon with the Marchioness and he awaited her at the exit. She complimented him on his flying and thanked him for the trip before she went on her way. Jaino would resume the cruise and it went on without a hitch.

Jaino's New Title

A few months later Jaino was called by one of his employees to come to the office at the starport. Here he would be informed that due to his flying, the Marchioness arrived at the system without as much as a scratch and after some research into his past she had deemed him worthy of a reward she would not have requested for just anyone. She had learned Jaino had given up his would-be title of Count to achieve his goals. Thus he was to be given the Title of Viscount as a reward of keeping her safe from political enemies whom Jaino previously thought of as pirates. In addition to achieving so much with his company in a remarkable time span.

Jaino now a Viscount realized what this meant, he was deeply grateful for the reward and believed he should do something with it. He knew his father in particular was a traditionalist through and through. He couldn't help but think his father may have been involved in it all. This idea would only cause Jaino to detach himself more and more from his own family. He had heard the whispers and sometimes even a small glimpse of news about the Imperial Princess and her movement. This had piqued his interest and he would later look into this more.

Political War on Napia 7

Three years have passed and Viscount Jaino Piret Teru had reached the age of 27. These past three years were hectic, his company had grown even more and he had is own humble estate on the planet as well. Royal Silver Cruises had grown in size as well with the arrival of the Beluga Cruise Liner that Jaino had named the Leviathan. The R.S.C. Leviathan would become the flagship of Royal Silver Cruises and became a popular ship in the system for many to take a cruise on. On the other hand, the political situation had become unstable a movement called the Aisling Angels had shown up and the formerly Napia Imperial Society lost influence with each passing month. Jaino had to watch with great discomfort as he saw both his father and younger brother disgrace themselves on the news in attempts to undermine the Aislings Angels.

Jaino himself had done his best to stay out of it as long as possible but with the request from Marchioness Cordelia Alayna Norgime to speak against the actions of his own family he had no other choice but to participate. Jaino did agree with the Imperial princess in regards to slavery, even imperial slavery should be banned. He had already been donating to her cause as well by means of financial aid. So Viscount Jaino Piret Teru was visible on the planetary news where he would speak out against the disgraceful claims of his own family which would later cause Count Teru and his entire family to leave the planet entirely. The last Jaino heard was that they left for a system controlled by Senator Zemina Torval. Not long after the Napia Imperial Society had lost all influence and power, most of Napia 7 swayed towards Princess Aisling.

A New Beginning

Another two years have passed and Viscount Jaino Piret Teru would have grown into a well-known figure in the system of Napia. His company Royal Silver Cruises continues to provide luxury cruises to other star systems and points of interest. With this business, it was not a surprise that the Viscount was able to buy a Nautilus class Fleet carrier which would be transformed into the Headquarters of his company and allowed for his cruiseship to undergo maintenance and resupply as well as a standby location for when it had become a more quiet season. Jaino had also expanded the fleet with 2 more Dolphins and another Orca class liner.

Now with the political situation having settled down on Napia 7 and his business firmly in place, he makes his way to Cubeo where the Imperial Princess he supports has her stronghold. He travels here in the hope of expanding his business, influence, and his contribution to the Imperial Princess's cause.
